AFDI on the Road with Aron from VeriFire.
It was our pleasure here at AFDI to join new member Aron at a high-rise residential block in Bedfordshire recently.
Aron qualified as a fire door inspector in the autumn of 2023 and was happy for AFDI to meet him for an audit of his fire door inspection work at his client’s building. This is something we feel adds value to AFDI membership especially in consideration of the potential clients that visit the Find an Inspector page at our website. It is very important that such clients can be confident in the competence and capabilities of AFDI members.
Aron was ready for us with lots of technical questions based on the experience he has gained in the past year carrying out inspections of fire doors at buildings of various types and sizes. We were pleased to discuss them during his inspection work and at the same time Aron demonstrated his competence and capabilities to us. We feel confident that his clients will benefit from Aron’s methodical and diligent approach and his accuracy in recording and reporting the inspection data.
These past few years have seen a huge rise in the number of building owners and operators that require fire door inspection services and we at AFDI understand there are many fire door inspectors out there offering those services.
